This is a pretty straight-forward book about the life of Audrey Hepburn with the less than savory parts glossed over or omitted. This makes a lot of sense because it is, after all, a children’s book.
It is simply written and nicely illustrated. If you like Audrey Hepburn, I’m sure you’ll like this book.
What surprises me is how much my son likes this book. He has no idea who Audrey Hepburn is. He’s two and he’s never watched a movie. We have, however, read this book over and over and over again. I asked him what he likes about it so much and, to be expected from a two year old, he said, “I like Audrey!” Fair enough. I mean, what’s not to like about Audrey Hepburn?
It’s a sweet book and it’s lovely to read to him. It leaves you will a nice, warm, isn’t-life-nice feeling. Sort of like how I feel after watching Gardens of the World with Audrey Hepburn.

I love the cover of this book. It’s on my “to read” list.
